If Isaiah 40-55 is about the comfort and the restoration that the LORD promises to bring to his people—that is, the arm of the LORD revealed—then this saving arm of the LORD comes through the servant figure. And here in Isa 52:13-53:12, the servant figure shows how he is the suffering servant who takes upon himself our iniquities and is dealt with by the LORD in our place. This is how the saving arm of the LORD looks like—do we believe and submit ourselves under the LORD’s mighty saving arm?
